Exchange 2007. NDR delivery problem

The postmaster for the organization was originally set to the domain

administrator account. I removed the email address postmaster.ms-exchange.todaysummary.com.domain.com from

the domain administrator's account. I setup a new mailbox named postmaster

for the domain and the postmaster.ms-exchange.todaysummary.com.domain.com email address was created by the

recipient update service on the postmaster account as expected.

I ran the cmdlets as specified in

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb400930.aspx, but the NDR's for

the domain are still being delivered to the domain administrator account's

mailbox.

How could the NDR's still be getting delivered to the administrator if the

postmaster.ms-exchange.todaysummary.com.domain.com is active on a different mailbox?
